Ahoy there me hearties! Welcome to the swashbuckling adventure of Joe and Kylie, two landlubbers turned sailors, setting sail on the high seas in search of adventure, new experiences, and a connection with the natural world.
We’ve acquired a vessel, the mighty Rosetta, a 1978 Westerly 33 Ketch. She may be a project boat, but we’re determined to bring her back to her former glory and set sail on the grandest adventure of our lives.
We’re currently anchored in the beautiful waters of Portugal, where we’re honing our skills and learning all about boat maintenance as we work through the many jobs on board. From there, we’ll be setting sail for the Algarve and the western Mediterranean, where we’ll explore the crystal-clear waters and discover all the secrets the sea has to offer.
As we embark on this journey, we’re committed to living as sustainably as possible and connecting with nature and the world around us. We believe that life is short, and we’re determined to make the most of every moment.
